Kansas City Realtor Assn. Selects CoStar as CRE Data Provider

CoStar to Provide Listing Management, Property Search Service for KCRAR’s Commercial Members

The Kansas City Regional Association of Realtors (KCRAR) and CoStar issued a joint statement today announcing that CoStar will become the real estate organization’s exclusive data, analytics and marketing provider for its commercial real estate division.

Under the agreement, KCRAR’s commercial real estate members will be offered preferential CoStar pricing and KCRAR members’ listings will be made available to tenants and investors on the association’s website through LoopLink, a hosted listing management and property search service offered by CoStar’s LoopNet affiliate and supported by CoStar’s extensive CRE database.

Additionally, CoStar agreed to an annual KCRAR sponsorship and to provide market statistics and data to the organization’s members.

KCRAR CEO Kipp Cooper said the agreement supports the association’s mission of providing innovative resources, tools and education to its members.

“We set out to find the best information and marketing system with the best analytic tools for our members and to make it affordable. We believe our collaboration with CoStar provides the best solution,” Cooper said in a statement.

CoStar Group CEO Andrew Florance said the agreement will provide Kansas City commercial real estate professionals with the best-available research and marketplace solutions.

“We are committed to helping KCRAR members make faster, better decisions by providing the most up-to-date CRE information that is backed by an incredible team of more than 1,850 researchers who conduct 12 million interviews annually,” said Florance.

The agreement with KCRAR comes as CoStar is in the midst of a two-week, 30-city road show with presentations to current and prospective users. The presentations, which are focused on the transforming impact of technology on commercial real estate, include such topics as 3D cameras, infrared drones and augmented reality.
