Newmark Knight Frank has recruited Rick Schuhwerk, Ed Jarosz, Anthony Coskren and Brian Pinch from JLL to form a new industrial team in the firm’s Boston office. The foursome will work to grow the company’s industrial leasing and capital markets practice.

Shuhwerk joins the firm as an executive managing director. Previously, he served as a managing director at JLL where he focused on industrial and R&D leasing and sales. The 17-year industry veteran broke into the industry with Parsons Commercial Group before leaving to head up JLL’s New England industrial practice group in 2005. In his career, he has negotiated more than 45 million square feet of transactions.

Also joining the firm as an executive managing director is Jarosz, a +20-year industry veteran who spent the last three years leading JLL’s New England industrial practice group along with Schuhwerk. Prior to joining JLL, the industrial and R&D leasing and sales specialist spent 14 years with CBRE as a member of its industrial practice group.

The third executive managing director to join the firm, Coskren has completed 35 million square feet of lease and sale transactions in his 11 years in the industry all with JLL, where he most recently served as executive vice president and helped build its regional industrial team. Past clients of his include Clarion Partners, Atlantic Management, Cabot Properties, Hilco Global, The Seyon Group, Wheelock Street Capital, Morgan Stanly and Novaya Ventures.

Pinch joins NKF as a managing director. The six-year industry veteran spent the last five years as a vice president with JLL, where he completed more than 20 million square feet in leasing and sales transactions.
